Our responsibilities span engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, delivered with a focus on safety, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and modern engineering and construction methodologies. Experience in the defense and nuclear sectors can be helpful, but we are equally interested in the ability of candidates to apply broader experiences in a new environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Role Description <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Commissioning Engineers will report to the Lead Engineer of their discipline.&nbsp; They will produce commissioning test documents in accordance with the agreed procedures and will lead a team of technicians in the execution, documentation, and review of commissioning tests and the results generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Executes or supervises commissioning of electrical apparatus and related protections and supervisory controls and alarms.<\/li><li>Reports to the Electrical Test Lead (TL) technical issues or problems noted during testing.<\/li><li>Reviews functional acceptance criteria documents.<\/li><li>Coordinate&nbsp;the development and execution of test instructions, test reports, and administrative documentation.<\/li><li>Ensures that all testing documentation is completed and submitted to support the project schedule.<\/li><li>Coordinates the development and performance of test instructions.<\/li><li>Coordinates with the Startup Turnover Lead, to ensures turnover of jurisdictional control of the system test and turnover boundaries from construction before performing any commissioning testing activities.<\/li><li>Supports the TL in developing\/maintain engineering system turnover scope markups.<\/li><li>Supports\/Participates in facility\/system walk downs.<\/li><li>Coordinates with the Startup Completions Lead, the operation of equipment \/ system for post preoperational test system operation.<\/li><li>Coordinates with Construction, craft personnel in support of preoperational test.<\/li><li>Evaluates completed post Construction or Maintenance work packages for impacts to completed preoperational tests.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #cf2e2e\" class=\"ugb-highlight\"><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At Bechtel, we offer a competitive salary package with the opportunity for flexible working to achieve a greater work-life balance. Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, and design criteria.<\/li><li>Excellent computer skills<\/li><li>Demonstrated successful experience in planning and scheduling of commissioning activities on a project level.
