Skin Cleansing Lifebuoy team in Mumbai is responsible for global design for Lifebuoy Bars, Body Wash, and Hand Hygiene. The team\u2019s responsibilities span new product development, improving the value equation of current products, managing specifications for product manufacture\/quality, offering best-in-class hygiene mixes for consumers, and redesigning mixes to achieve 100% biodegradability by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current job description is for a Senior Research Associate position reporting into an R&D Sr. Product Development Manager, Skin Cleansing Lifebuoy, Mumbai. The person would lead as technical workstream leader for key projects (across bars and sanitizers) under Lifebuoy and platform brands Program. In addition, the role would involve leading value creation initiatives, driving the current product portfolio of Bars and Sanitizers to 100% biodegradation, managing product quality, and specifications, interfacing with global & regional cross-functional teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key accountabilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led key design projects as Technical workstream leader developing mixes\u00a0as desired by the business. Understanding the consumer habits, need gaps, and pain points as required by the Project team and integrating relevant insights in product design. Work with the Processing and Supply Chain teams, develop manufacturing processes to scale the product manufacture from lab to pilot to the main plant, estimate the CAPEX requirements.\u00a0\u00a0Technical troubleshoot formulation-related issues working closely with relevant experts from Design and Science &Technology teams.\u00a0Ensure compliance to Internal Unilever protocols, External regulatory environment, while developing mixes with respect to commitment to safety, environment, claim support, specification management, etc.\u00a0Provide support in the development of the understanding of the technologies that will help drive meet the Lifebuoy brand ambitions. understanding competitor formulation strategy globally and developing insights to derive competitive advantages. Developing robust product specifications for implementation globally<\/p>\n\n\n\n
