About Team and Role
The All Things Supply Team at Swiggy works on various problem statements around-Vendor/Restaurant side of the Business, Kitchen Technology, Private Labels, Cloud kitchens, Vendor Payouts, Trust and Safety, etc. As Swiggy is venturing into new domains, we are looking for enthusiastic Engineers to join us in our mission to take India’s largest food delivery platform to new heights and be a part of a team that is building these new business lines from scratch.
SDE II in Swiggy plays a key role in owning the end-to-end design/Architecture of a complex system/team they are assigned to. They co-own the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team. They partner with the product/business teams to understand the product features and specifications and translate them into high-level and low-level design thereby facilitating the team in the design and development of mission-critical applications.

Swiggy Eligibility Criteria
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in developing applications
- Excellent command over Data Structures and Algorithms and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of object-oriented/functional programming with proficiency in at least one programming language like Java and/or Golang
- Expertise with one or multiple frameworks like Spring, Struts, Revel, Gin, etc.
- Strong design skills involving data modeling and low-level class design
- Understanding of Micro-services architecture and associated design patterns (CQRS, Saga, etc. Experience working with caching, message queues, streaming services, web sockets, SQL, and NoSQL
- Experience with scalable systems (techniques like replication, sharding)
- Experience with performance engineering (monitoring & actioning on application performance stats)Experience with gRPC (HTTP2, Protocol buffers)
- Good to have: Experience with high-performance websites catering to millions of daily traffic is a plus Understanding of public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
