Job Description for DE Shaw India Off Campus Drive
We are looking for bright and exceptional programmers to join our Software Developer team based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day?
The candidate would be responsible for designing and implementing medium/large scale financial markets and securities trading-related applications in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The candidate will execute individual projects and deliverables while collaborating with business groups and counterparts in New York. Projects will include performing R&D to evaluate the appropriate technologies to use, resolving application and data issues in production within timelines, and driving complete project lifecycles, from collecting and analyzing requirements to project delivery/deployment to clients.

DE Shaw India Off Campus Drive Eligibility Criteria
- Up to 4 years years of robust experience in Java/JEE OR Python, in addition to some or all of the following: RESTful Web Services, Python/Perl, messaging middleware, and databases (SQL Server).
- Experience in Spring, Mybatis/ibatis/Hibernate, jQuery, JavaScript and deployment architecture are also preferred.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as a demonstrated passion for technology.
- Excellent reasoning ability and good interpersonal and communication skills.
