Key Responsibilities for Enzen Jobs 2021
- All civil and erection related activities in construction of 66/11kV and 110/11kV substation and transmission lines.
- Get soil investigation and contour survey done and prepare contour drawings along with soil cutting/filling calculations
- Technical discussions including civil designs with client
- Supervise works at site including, but not limited to:
- Site levelling, earth mat formation, construction of control room building, equipment foundations, power transformer foundations, cable trench construction, 11kV switchgear foundation, erection of equipment, transmission line tower foundations, erection of towers, conductor stringing, testing and commissioning of substation and transmission line etc.
- Support drawing preparations and approvals from client
- Ensure site measurements on time for invoice submissions and follow up for invoice approvals with client
- Daily target monitoring & execution of corrective measures
- Develops the plan for the day to day activity
- Instruct the subcontractor on activities that need to be completed on day to day basis
- Report on any incident or risk in the project
- Supervise punctuality and integrity
- Two way communication with sub-contractors
- Provide trainings on work and health and safety to the field staff
- Ensure the work place is safe to conduct the work
- Manages day-to-day client interaction.
- Reports the Daily progress the project manager
- Manage the field staff and facilitate the smooth work progress
- Assist the client representative on the event of the inspection at site
- Supports quality & process Improvement / productivity improvement processes.
- Supports Health, Safety and Environment process and improvement.
- Supports & adheres to Information Security Requirements.
- Liaise with local people to resolve any issues or objections during transmission line works for Row and coordinate with client for resolutions
- Verify measurements submitted by sub-contractor and ensure certification of measurements and invoices by client.
Skill sets required:
- Substation and transmission line construction standards and practices
- Ability to communicate in English and Hindi (Communication ability in Kannada is an added advantage)
- Good interpersonal skill
- Should have experience of site execution of at least two substation projects of 66kV or above voltage levels.
- Experience of site supervision of substation and transmission line works (Experience in KPTCL projects is desirable)
- Experience of managing sub-contractors
