ABOUT IREL COMPANY
IREL Limited is a government-owned corporation Mini-Ratna Category A, Schedule B Company, in India based in Mumbai. It was incorporated as a public limited company in 1950, jointly owned by the Government of India and Government of Travancore, Kochi with the primary intention of taking up commercial-scale processing of Monazite. The government of India took control of IREL in 1963 under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy. It was incorporated with the primary intention of taking up commercial-scale processing of monazite sand at its first unit namely Rare Earths Division, Aluva, Kochi for the recovery of thorium.

- Trainee Engineer: 01 Year
- Project Engineer: 02 Year

The upper age limit is:
- Non-Unionized Supervisory Category: 26 Years
- Non-Executive (Workmen) Category: 30 Years
SELECTION PROCESS FOR IREL RECRUITMENT 2021
- Qualification & Experience
- Interview
The mode of selection for all the posts would consist of
(i) Written Test First Level Test Skill Test / Trade Test / Computer Proficiency Test and Psychometric Test.
as applicable and/or any combination thereof as may be
prescribed or decided by the Competent Authority.
The written test will be Computer Based Test (CBT) for Post Codes with PC1 to PC5 and Paper Based Test (PBT) for postcodes with PC6.
The candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements/criteria viz. Age, qualification, experience, etc. will be called for a written test (objective type) comprising of Multiple-Choice Questions.
