Job Description for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Jobs 2021
The Digital Platform Bots team has an exciting opportunity for application developers to join us and work on Software Engineering solutions that facilitate the development of NLU models, chatbots, and virtual assistants. The role not only offers you the chance to enhance your knowledge of technologies used to develop chat-bots but also to be part of a forward-looking team using a modern technology stack that is continuously refreshed as better technologies become available. Partnering closely with colleagues in the Rates and Credit business, you will be able to solve business problems using chat-bots and add real value for our clients whilst enhancing your knowledge of a wide range of financial instruments.
The profile of the ideal candidate:
- Programming background in at least one of these languages Python, C++ or Java, with the chance to cross train into Python and Java
- Comfortable with using regular expressions to analyse textual data
- Confident in working with product business analysts
- Excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate across technology and business teams
- Excellent problem solving skills to deliver creative solutions for our clients
- Experience across all parts of the SDLC – requirements gathering, design and development, testing, production deployment
Preferable Skills
- Familiarity with Program AB
- Some knowledge of banking instruments e.g. IRD, Swaps, Rates, Cash, Repos, Credit
