Job Description for L&T Jobs 2021
- Strong focus on accountability and commitment to project delivery.
- Familiar with moving block signalling system and commissioning methodologies applicable for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- Supports Test & Commissioning activities on site under supervision of Tester in Charge.
- Able to work under pressure, under strict timeline, with strict governance of Safety principles established already.
- Supports the Planning and performance of integration and test activities at project sites as per defined plans.
- Must be able to read installation drawings, bookwiring, interconnections and analyze circuits to troubleshoot during equipment power up and system integration phase.
- Manages and installs application test software in the field including the restoration of systems to pre-test conditions as necessary.
- Prepares test reports which record the pass, fail status of planned tests and identify problems detected during testing.
- Under the supervision Site Manager and Deployment Project Manager, ensure the application of standards, practices/procedures, quality assurance, and adherence to schedule and budget.
- Investigates test anomalies through the acquisition of data files, design documentation and interaction with development departments and teams.
- Prepares problem reports in the defect tracking or problem reporting system describing test failures and defects.
- Familiarity with test tools such as multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, network traffic analyzer, Oscilloscope.
