Job Description for Mace Jobs 2021
- Project: This is a 3 million sq. ft. high-rise residential project in south Mumbai with a panoramic view of the racecourse, comprising of three 250 metres – 270 metres tall towers, 3 basements, and a nine-level podium structure with 60-70 habitable floors.
- To provide support in day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring of the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Role Description
- Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
- Acting as the main technical adviser on construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
- Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
- Assisting in managing and delivery of the project.
- Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
- Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyor and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Communicating with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project’s progress.
- Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Preparing reports as and when required.
- Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
