Responsibilities
- Planning and Execution of Machine shop plan for all inhouse machined components.
- Responsible for output of all CNC machines, Manual Drilling, SPM machines, Tool store and deburring cell.
- Responsible for improving OEE (overall equipment efficiency) of Machine shop.
- Maintaining discipline on shop floor.
Authority
- Process improvement authority. Allowed to alter any CNC machine program.
- Use of M3 related to Manufacturing activities.
- Approve Work permit for any external agency in the absence of Head of department.
- Approve maintenance report of any external agency in absence of Maintenance person.
- Objecting any unsafe activity throughout the organization.
Role Description
- Validating Set Up Time and daily machine output.
- Following and communicating Monthly Machining Plan prepared with all concerned operators with specific priority given.
- Monitoring every day utilization & rejections of All inhouse machined components and doing rejection analysis of above products, deciding counter measures to minimize or eliminate the same and reporting CAPA for same.
- Monitoring and supervising machine shop for all related activities like checking work order, Drawings and inspection reports on daily & monthly basis.
- Solve all type of Machining Problems of operators.
- R & D Component Planning, Tooling, Machining and Communication with planner for changes / Problems.
- All M3 activities related to Manufacturing.
Skills
- A high level of computer skills –Master CAM, Auto CAD, CNC, PRO-E Certified Courses, ERP system, Excel, Word, Power Point.
