Job Description for Pickyourtrail Off Campus Drive 2022
What you will do here?
- Enable data driven business decisioning at Pickyourtrail by providing sales, marketing, customer experience and product teams with timely Business Intelligence and insights.
- Build interactive data visualizations and dashboards in Power BI to communicate business and operating metrics to stakeholders.
- Assist with ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders that can be obtained from Power BI reports as well as SQL databases.
What we look for?
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role in a fast-paced data driven consumer startup / analytics CoE / analytics services company.
- Extremely high level of proficiency in MySQL or any other SQL variant with ability to effortlessly perform complex joins, aggregations and DML operations.
- High level of working comfort in Power BI with ability to design innovative and intuitive visualizations from existing datasets as well as seamlessly build new datasets from scratch using the native capabilities in Power BI desktop.
- Ability to quickly understand relationship between business process and data architecture, grasp existing data models and schemas, modify existing data models or build new ones within Power BI.
- Strong conceptual understanding as well as hands on experience with advanced DAX capabilities including time intelligence, relationship functions, cross filters, calculated tables.
- Comfort with advanced Excel capabilities including advanced pivot table operations and Power Pivots, conditional and logical statements, statistical functions, lookup and reference functions, text, date and time functions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders, drive productive conversations around data, maintain a level outlook and deliver consistent and predictable output in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have Skillsets and Qualities:
- Ability to synthesize data into insights, build customized narratives for relevant stakeholders and elevate data driven conversations.
- Working comfort with Python and its applications across ML, ML Ops and data engineering.
