Role & Responsibilities
- Review & Approve parts as per standards, practices and procedures to drive the standardization of Parts
- Maintain and Manage typical spares worksheet for recommended spare Parts List per sold unit
- Input and manage supplier and vendor parts.
- Enforce form, fit and function rules, compatibility control, and part retirement.
- Analyze, interpret and establish design requirements based on engineering instructions and available technical data based on change request
- Support Workflow for Service Part Identification, Part Creation and Part Pricing
- Guide Business in Obsolescence, disposition, replacement and suppression of Parts
- Drive entire lifecycle of part from conceptions to decommission
- Support change control Process
- Support and submit 3rd Party Part Classification
- Develop report and metrics for OTD and accuracy
- Provide Technical support to customer
- Able to participate in Innovation & Simplification drives
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
- Experience in Spare Parts Management
- Parts Obsolecense and Change Management
- Technically sound in Design Fundamentals and BOM creation
