Job Description for Stanley Black & Decker Jobs 2021
- As we continue to grow the Licensing Business Globally (all brands) we are increasing our focus on driving Regional initiatives in India and East Asia with our Licensing Partners. This role will allow for dedicated focus in supporting the growth of our licensing business in the India sub-continent, with additional support to other regions, as required.
Role Description
- Ensure that products licensed to carry the Black & Decker, DeWalt and Stanley brands meet our quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and work with licensing commercial team to establish the requirements thresholds necessary for approval.
- Work with licensing team to review and select new licensees.
- Provide technical assessments of potential licensees’ products and quality systems.
- Organize and chair construction reviews of all new licensed product proposals.
- Review and monitor existing licensees warranty rates and corrective actions.
- Be the technical liaison between licensees and Stanley Black & Decker.
- Help grow the licensing business.
- Other duties as assigned.

Stanley Black & Decker Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in Product Engineering and Reliability or related areas
- Broad-based product knowledge on a range of products.
- Have a working knowledge of good manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Able to handle many projects simultaneously
- Need strong technical skills in conjunction with good business sense
- Demonstrates good verbal and written skills
- Able to work well with others; good team work skills
- Comfortable with working with all levels of a business internally and externally
