Job summary:
As a Business Analyst/Data Scientist in the Business Operations and Analytics team, you will support the team in driving strategic analysis to enable business and product strategies, and find avenues for growth and optimization.
- Use data science and data analytics to support hypothesis for product management teams
- Perform statistical analysis on diverse datasets to draw actionable insights
- Support development of dynamic customer segmentation models
- Support market and competitive analysis for products targeted for both on-premises and cloud segments
Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of experience either in data science, data analytics, business strategy, or management consulting
- Excellent data analytics and data visualization skills
- Prior experience of working on analytical tools like SQL, Python, R and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Ability to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business. Familiarity with enterprise IT industry preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones
- Should have a pro-active self-starter personality.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
- MBA from a top university and/or advanced degree preferred
