ABOUT ALSTOM:
Alstom SA is a French multinational rolling stock manufacturer operating worldwide in rail transport markets, active in the fields of passenger transportation, signalling, and locomotives, with products including the AGV, TGV, Eurostar, Avelia and New Pendolino high-speed trains, in addition to suburban, regional and metro trains, as well as Citadis trams.
A merger with parts of the General Electric Company (UK) formed GEC Alsthom in 1989. Field Operation Installation team
Overall Purpose Of The Role
Prepare and execute Installation engineering activities in support to one or several Bids / Projects
Responsibilities
- Support the Domain Team Leader
- Produce the Electrical drawing and the 3D presentation;
- Produce cabling list and test protocol;
- Ensure the respect of all the Electrical design constraints of each solution;
- Perform survey on-site (inside the train) and define the technical solution for the Electrical part;
- Report any failure of the Electrical solution during the train fitment in order to address the change in a short term period;
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
- Communication
- Agile
- Time Management Skills
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
- 4+ years of Experience in Electrical Design
- Language Skills: Proficient in the English language
- Knowledge of E3s is an asset.
