ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Deploys and applies on project Traction Design development procedures.
- Contributes to the traction physical architecture taking into account below listed areas of work
- a. Traction and HV/LV Cubicle design with component space allocation, packaging, and its mounting definition
- b. Electrical Harness routing in CATIA V5 using EHI work bench based on the synoptic, schematic, connector and device list.
- c. Bundling/Segregation of harnesses based on the EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) classification.
- d. Mounting of Electrical equipment’s.
- e. Routing of cables, design of braids and Earthing /Grounding.
- f. Design of Bus Bars / Copper bars and Sandwiched bus bars.
- g. Traction/CVS Cubicle design, Mounting and complete harness routing (Structure definition, Welding, fastening definition, circuit brackets, relays and Terminal Blocks as per electrical architecture).
- h. Equipment position Definition and interface development of HV and LV connections.
- i. XML file from the schematics to be linked with the Harness designed in CATIA V5 and exchanged with schematic team.
- j. Creation of 2D / 3D FTA for parts, assemblies and installations.
- k. Knowledge of Electrical components and packaging.
- l. sheet metal design in CATIA V5.
- m. To organize and to pilot the NEO review (detailed phase) ad to participate to the NEO DR managed by S&A designer.
- Monitors, controls and consolidates her/his work package. As such:
- – Organizes and leads her/his work package reviews for the project he/she is in charge,
- – Manages Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan,
- – Reports her/his targets to Traction Design Domain Leader (Quality Cost Delivery consolidation and risks).
- Supports Traction Design Engineer in establishing Certification & Validation Plan.
- Organizes support activities for System Design and System Tests.
- Organizes Design / Verification reviews and provides the associated reports.
- Manages Technical Solution, Gaps on application part and Product part in accordance with her/his Metier.
- Defines and monitors the Electrical Integration deliverables with project needs.
- Supports industrialization teams during manufacturing / ramp-up.
