Job Description
Chegg India is looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Associate to join its team but a powerful team in New Delhi. If you’re like us and obsessed with SEO, then we should talk. This role is great for anyone who is passionate about search engines, web sites, and achieving high search engine rankings. In this role, you will be working with the in-house team to optimize our website with the goal of driving as much organic traffic to the site as possible. This role offers a ton of learning opportunities.
Role
The candidate must be:
- Should have excellent command over English (US) – written (priority) and spoken
- Working knowledge/basic understanding of SEO; with the focus on link building and link audit
- Understanding of Google Search operators
- Knowledge of keyword research
- He/she should be agile in responding to time-sensitive deliverables
- Proficiency in MS tools (excel, word and PowerPoint)
- A data-driven approach to decision making

Responsibilities
- Online marketing: – Handling SEO Projects
- Link building (Ethical, highly relevant link acquisition that adheres to Google’s quality guidelines)
- Keeping an eye on competitor’s SEO profile
- Monitoring the website through Google Webmaster Tools/Google Search Console
- Keeping up on SEO trends
- Experimenting with new SEO strategies
- On-page optimization
Requirements
- Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline
- Up to 2 years of SEO experience
- Hands-on experience of SEO tools like BuzzStream, Ahrefs, Moz and SEMrush is a plus
- Excellent skills in word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software
- Experience of working in process-driven environment is a plus
