1) Java –
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
The job requires the candidate to have
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player
- Strong academic background
Good To Have Skills –
- Knowledge of tools and technologies like Object Oriented Programming (OOPs Concepts), Core Java, JavaScript, HTML, Database etc.
- Ability to analyze and write code/programs and debug
- Basic understanding of application server and configuration management through use of code repositories like GIT/Subversion.
The candidate will be involved during the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Will be required to analyze business requirements, identify & implement code changes, debug, provide support during builds & deployment process/environment set-up etc., comply with the applicable processes, coding standards, and attend meetings/walkthroughs/demos etc.

2) Mainframes –

- Basic understanding of Insurance Domain (either Life & Annuity or Property & Casualty)
- Ability to learn insurance products/plans offered in the market, business requirements
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, Visio etc.
The candidate will be involved during the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Will be required to analyze business requirements and identify functional changes, provide support during gap analysis & to the technical team, prepare and execute test plans, create test data, comply with the applicable processes, and attend meetings/walkthroughs/demos etc.
Selection Process:
Selection Procedure for DXC Technology are as follows:
- GD Round.
- 1 Technical Round.
- Training Round (Candidates clearing the above process need to join a training process for 20 to 25 days at DXC Technology during which you will be trained and analysed, No stipend or accommodation will be provided during this period and candidate have to manage on their own)
- Candidates qualifying training will be interviewed for the final round.
- Candidates clearing final round will be issued offer letter.
