Job Description for Mace Jobs 2021
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking construction engineer to join our established and growing team.
- The role will be reporting to the project manager, responsible for ensuring that the projects are completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget.
- Managing the practical side of every stage of the build, you’ll work closely with architects, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery.
Role Description
- Managing, designing, developing, creating and maintaining small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
- Conducting on-site investigations and evaluate information/data.
- Carrying out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
- Assessing potential risks, materials and costs.
- Overseeing and mentoring staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Managing and handing over the resulting structures and services for use.
- Monitoring the progress and compile reports in project status.
- Complying with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

Must-Have Skills
- A degree in civil engineering.
- You have experience in infrastructure projects and have been involved in the project’s processes and management
- You have expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
