About The Role
We are currently looking for a full-time Analyst to become a part of our Data Intelligence Team based out of Mumbai (India). The ideal candidate should be a data enthusiast and possess excellent technical & analytical skills to maneuver through large datasets.
Job Description for Nielsen Recruitment 2022
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal stakeholders like Engineering/Tech Ops etc. on various projects by understanding several project pipelines
- Analyse the raw datasets and create logics to retrieve desired information
- Create algorithms which would help identify key parameters
- Ensure accuracy of the algorithms and that those are updated timely
- Create dashboards for regular data reports
- Should be able to manage repository of logs, reports and algorithms
- Understand and implement all Nielsen internal protocols
- Deliver quality services and ensure they are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while maintaining quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
About the Team
The Data Intelligence Team at Nielsen works with the latest technologies and is primarily responsible for the creation of algorithms that feed into various go-to-market solutions enabling client groups to find answers to their business questions.

Nielsen Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate or Postgraduate – in Science, Mathematics or Statistics, Engineering, Management
- 1-3 year experience in Data Analysis or Analytics
- Hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, Python, Scala, Spark and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
- Possess strong analytical skills, be responsible for data analysis, QC and interpreting the same
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Required to be a team player but can also work independently
- Should be productive, self-driven, able to take ownership, prioritize and manage expectations
- Detail and process oriented
- Would be required to work on some weekends/holidays for a couple of hours based on business needs
