In addition, House Rent Allowance , Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively. The employees will be governed by the National Pension System(NPS). EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Candidates applying for the Scientists / Engineer post must possess the following desired qualification:
- Scientist / Engineer: M.E. / M.Tech or M.Sc. / Ph.D. in concerned / relevant discipline. 1st class pass with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.5 on a ten scale.
- Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in Electronics / ECE / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering.
- Technician: Matriculation (SSC or SSLC Or 10th class) Pass with ITI / NTC / NAC in concerned trade.
Age Limit:
No Age limit for Scientist / Engineer SD; 18 – 35 years for all other posts. Age as on 3rd April 2020. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for SC / ST / Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled is 5 Years, OBC(Non-Creamy Layered) Candidates is by 3 years & for PWD Candidates is 10 Years.
