JOB DESCRIPTION
Our team (Integrated Applications & Tooling) is looking for a ‘Python script developer’ (0 to 3 years) with Network/Security/Voice domain knowledge to work with the industry’s top leaders and their cutting-edge technologies. You will work on creating automation workflow solutions for the new and existing products in CDK to help provision/install solutions for our customers; using our platform written in python. We work in an ‘agile’ environment which means we conduct short, focused iterations of engineering work so we can quickly respond to our customers technology needs. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and is comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Quickly gain knowledge on tools, domain and products team are working on.
- Understand the automation platform.
- Ability to understand the product, current workflow and automate the workflow using python.
- Possess Networking/Security domain and development background.
- Voice domain knowledge is preferred
- Salesforce API SOQL experience would be preferred

IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Python (3.x preferred, 2.x is okay)
- Comfortable working with various APIs
- Experience with JavaScript and SQL
- An idea on any scripting language like Ruby, Shell, Perl, PHP, etc. is preferred
- Quick learning skills
- Good software debugging skills
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Great team player, ability to work as part of a team, and enthusiasm for learning new things.
