EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates applying for the Scientific Assistant & Junior Artisan post must possess the following desired qualification:

Diploma course after full time HSC/12th along with First class vocational course of 2 yrs in chemical discipline. |
| 2 | Junior Artisan on Contract | (i)For Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Electrician / Fitter: Should have passed ITI (2 years) in the trades of Electrical / Electronics / Power Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation / Process Instrumentation / Mechanical (Fitter / Diesel Mechanic) (ii)For Chemical Plant Operator (CPO): Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in HSC/12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science / Mathematics or Should have passed ITI |

AGE LIMIT
The upper age limit is:
- Scientific Assistant-A on Contract: 25 Years
- Junior Artisan on Contract:25 Years
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for SC / ST / Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled is 5 Years, OBC(Non-Creamy Layered) Candidates is by 3 years & for PWD Candidates is 10 Years.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Procedure for ECIL Recruitment 2021 involves :
- Qualification & Experience
- Written Test
- Document Verification
- Trade Test
1)The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
2)The candidates have to qualify in Written Test & Trade Test and the weightage is 40% & 60% respectively. There shall be no interview.
3)Final merit list will be prepared considering the score of both Written Test & Trade Test.
