JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mechanical Engineer with experience in design and development of mechanical and electromechanical devices & systems. Responsibilities includes design & development of GPU based products, designing loading system for GPU, structural analysis, ECAD-MCAD Integration, conducting design previews, performing product acceptance, resolving design and implementation issues and working with vendors for manufacturability. Engage & responds to customer requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Possesses a broad range of mechanical design expertise in multiple mechanical engineering technologies and has an advanced working knowledge in Tooling, Material selection and finishes. Leads, mentors, and influences the work of other engineers. Integrates advanced working knowledge of other disciplines and demonstrates innovation and creativity in cross functional design and engineering.
SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Qualification: Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5 – 15 years of experience in high tech industry with min 5 years of experience in product (system) design & development. Skill set: Advanced knowledge of various mechanical design / electromechanical design. Expertise in implementation of most major design disciplines and validation such as DFM, DFA, DFR, DOE, assembly, statistics, tolerance analysis, failure analysis, etc.. Strong knowledge of various non-mechanical engineering such as Board level thermal design, Structural design and challenges faced across electronics cooling industry with respect to PCB layout and manufacturing. Expertise in Thermal mechanical Designs of Graphics card is preferred.
