The Numaligarh Refinery is located at Morangi, Golaghat district, Assam in India is a refinery which is a joint venture between Oil India and the Government of Assam and is a division of Oil India. It opened in 1999. As of 2014, it had a capacity of 3 million metric tonnes per year.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates applying for the Graduate Engineer Trainee, Assistant Officer Trainee, Assistant Accounts Officer post must possess the following desired qualification:
- Assistant Officer- Commercial (Trainee): 2 years full time Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized University / Institute approved by UGC with a minimum 60% marks.
- Assistant Accounts Officer: CA (Intermediate) pass, Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institute approved by UGC with a minimum of 60% marks
EXPERIENCE
- Graduate Engineer Trainee: : No experience is required for this post
- Assistant Officer- Commercial (Trainee): No experience is required for this post
- Assistant Accounts Officer: : 3 years post qualifying degree

AGE LIMIT
The upper age limit is:
- Graduate Engineer Trainee: 30 years
- Assistant Officer- Commercial (Trainee): 32 years.
- Assistant Accounts Officer: 32 years.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Procedure for NRL Recruitment 2021 involves :
- The selection process shall consist of Computer Based Test and Personal Interview or/and Group Task of the shortlisted candidates.
- All the candidates claiming to fulfil all the eligibility criteria will be called for Computer Based Test without verifying their eligibility.
- Computer Based Test will be of objective type questions with no negative marking and will comprise of 4 sections:
- Section A: Technical / Professional Knowledge comprising of questions related to Qualifying degree required for the applied position.
- Section B : General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
- Section C : English language
- Section D : Reasoning & Numerical Ability 80% questions will be from Section A.
- Candidates qualifying in the Computer Based Test in order of merit will be called for Group Task or/and Personal Interview.
- Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in both the stages i.e. Computer Based Test and Group Task (GT) & Personal Interview (PI) to be considered for further selection process. Minimum qualifying marks in each stage i.e CBT and (PI+GT) is 50%
- The offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable qualifying candidates in order of merit and based on the number of vacancies.

APPLICATION FEE
- The application fees is applicable for all the posts mentioned in this advertisement.
- SC, ST & PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- General, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹500/- ( per post). Fee collected will be refunded back to candidates if they appear for the CBT.
- Payment Mode: Debit / Credit card/Wallet/ UPI/Net Banking: On paying application fee online, the payment status will automatically change to “Your Transaction is successfully completed”, on successful receipt of fees.
- All the candidates must ensure that the payment status is “Completed” as the transaction will be considered “incomplete” in case of any other payment status. Once the payment is done, candidates are required to take print of acknowledgment of payment and preserve the same for future reference.
- No other mode of payment, other than those mentioned above, will be accepted.
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Fee will be refunded only after the candidate appears in the CBT for the applied post.
HOW TO APPLY?
Interested candidates must follow the following procedure to apply for the NRL Recruitment 2021 process:
- Online Application will be accepted from 10:00 hrs on 24.07.2021 to 23:59 hrs on 13.08.2021 through NRL website www.nrl.co.in (Career Section -> Current openings ). No other means / mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates are requested to read the complete instructions hereunder before proceeding to the application form.
- Candidates are required to upload the following documents alongwith the online application:
- Photograph and Signature of candidate (size 50-80kb in jpg/jpeg/png format)
- Age proof / Date of birth document (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format)
- Caste/ Tribe certificate as applicable in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority. OBC (Non Creamy layer) category certificate, issued by the Competent Authority should be issued within one year from the date of application. (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format)
- PwBD (Disability = 40% and above) certificate, if applicable (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format)
- Supporting proof for candidate domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.89 (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format) vi. Class 10th and 12th Marksheets (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format)
- Marksheet and pass certificate of graduation (BE/B.Tech in case of GET, graduation degree in case of Assistant Officers) and Qualifying examination (ie. CA(Inter), M.Com) (size 80-150 kb in jpg/jpeg /pdf format)
- Candidates have to register prior to filling the online application form with their valid email ID and mobile no. The email id and mobile number provided in online application should remain valid for at least one year as they will be used for further communication regarding the recruitment process. Applications with pseudo / fake email ids will attract appropriate action under the law.
- Candidates are advised to submit only one application against one post. In case of multiple applications against one post from a candidate, the latest one shall be considered as final and the older applications shall be rejected without any notice.
- If a candidate meets eligibility criteria, he/she may apply for more than one post. However, he/she will have to separately register and submit separate application form with applicable fee for each post.
- Candidates shall ensure that the information furnished by him/her are true and in case any information furnished by a candidate is found to be faulty/forged, his/her candidature shall be summarily rejected without assigning any reason thereof.
- In the event of non-submission of completed application along with application fees (wherever applicable) from candidates for reasons whatsoever, his / her candidature will stand cancelled and no further communication/consideration on the same will be entertained.
- Before applying for any post, candidate should ensure that he/ she fulfils the eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in this advertisement. NRL would be free to reject any application at any stage of the selection process, if the candidate is found ineligible for the position for which he/ she has applied. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
- No hardcopy of the application or document should be sent by post to the Office of Numaligarh Refinery Limited.
- Verification of the documents uploaded, with the originals, shall be done only if the candidate is shortlisted for Personal Interview / Group Task.
