Your responsibilities & requirements:

We’re looking for an Assistant Development Engineer who will be responsible for day-to-day executions and implementations required for System Releases. You will be part of the R&D Public Team in Bangalore and its responsibilities are building IOT based Smart Lighting outdoor products. Hence Problem Solving, taking ownership, Accountability & Drive/passion for results must be in your DNA.
What you’ll do
- Formulation of tests, Test Preparations, Documentation for the projects to be learnt and taken care of. Need to be responsible and accountable for all the assigned projects/tasks. You are free to showcase your ideas for test automation and test frameworks development. Also be responsible and accountable enough and communicate expectations, plans, requirements, and co-ordinate all work within the scope of the assigned project/s.
- Verification and validation, requirement analysis and timeliness are equally important.
- Bring in the Automation expertise starting from Automation frameworks and writing testcases.
- Make sure the Testing cycles meet the timeline with quality and with precision.
- Maintain good communication channel with the team, stake holders and other co-workers.
- Adapt and work in the agile mode with quality as said earlier.
- Contribute to regular releases maintaining the timelines.
- Ready to grab knowledge, keep the learning path high and be flexible.
What you’ll need
As an Assistant Development Engineer with R&D Public, you will be going ahead with your corporate journey in working hands-on on the Signify outdoor lighting products and projects. A smart, sharp individual who is a quick learner with the below additional factors.
- Eagerness to learn and get a hands-on Industry experience.
- Good experience of Test concepts, Manual Testing, Automation (Python/C++ or any scripting language would be an added advantage)
- Exposure on working with Real time operating systems experience like Linux etc. is an added advantage.
- Exposure of communication protocols I2C, SPI, DMA, UART.
- Good exposure to Automation tools or any other test tools is an added advantage.
