EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates applying for the Technical post must possess the following desired qualification:

| 1 | Technical Assistant | 1st class B.Sc.(Science)/Diploma with one-year full-time professional qualification/experience in Microbiology/Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/MLT/Chemical Sciences/Biochemical Engineering/Instrumentation engineering |
| 2 | Junior Engineer(Electrical) | 1st class diploma in ElectricalEngineering of 3 years full-time duration or at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course or it’s equivalent with 02 years of experience in the relevant area/field. |
| 3 | Technician | Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate or national/state trade certificate |
| 4 | Electrician | Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Electrician trade |
| 5 | Fitter | Secondary School Certificate / 10th Standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Fitter trade. |

AGE LIMIT
The upper age limit is:
- Group-III Posts:- 28 Years
- Group-II Posts:- 28 Years
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for SC / ST / Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled is 5 Years, OBC(Non-Creamy Layered) Candidates is by 3 years & for PWD Candidates is 10 Years.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Procedure for CSIR Recruitment 2021 involves :
- Qualification & Experience
- Three Papers
There will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). Paper-II and Paper III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper I. The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.
