The Ethics & Conduct Team overseas awareness, training, and establishes processes and controls to support the Firms’ compliance with applicable Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, and Export Control/Economic Sanctions regulations.

In Hyderabad, you will be a part of a sub-team within FSS – Risk & Brand Protection (R&BP) that directly supports Deloitte Australia’s Ethics & Conduct Team.
Deloitte Off Campus Drive 2024 Work you’ll do:
Conduct Due Diligence process (Quality & Risk)
- Execute Conduct Due Diligence procedures where conduct risk triggers are flagged during client or engagement acceptance, or third-party due diligence, including:
- background searches on potential clients, third parties and their officers from a conduct risk viewpoint using Factiva search, general web search (using appropriate keywords), Firstpass and Thomson Reuters World Check One;
- researching web sites/external databases for other relevant information about entities and their affiliations (such as parent/subsidiary).
- Liaise with Conduct team members and, where necessary, engagement teams or relationship owners in completing the client, engagement and third-Party due diligence checks ensuring complete information is provided.
- Analyze information gathered to ascertain whether further escalation is required to the Australian Ethics & Conduct Team.
- Assign preliminary risk ratings and propose mitigations before Third party arrangements are entered into by the firm.
- Contribute to the assessment of conduct risks in relation to client, engagement or third party escalated cases, applying sound judgement on due diligence findings.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in communicating directly with onshore proposal teams.
- Maintain records of due diligence and risk assessments performed in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
- Prepare periodic status reports based on metrics such as risk rating, volume of requests handled, service line etc.
- Maintain evidence of Third-party due diligence procedures to support internal audit testing of the controls.
Work location: Hyderabad
Shift timings: 6.30 AM to 3.30 PM
Qualification and Key Skills:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate with an overall 2 to 3 years of experience in market/financial research
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, innovative, and team player.
- Committed to serving internal teams to deliver the best of the firm to Deloitte’s clients.
- Experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload and work effectively on various tasks in parallel.
- Ability to solicit and be receptive to feedback from senior colleagues and stretch oneself to learn new skills for overall development.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Finance & Shared Services
The “Finance & Shared Services” team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in Australia with a wide variety of capabilities like management and financial reporting, finance system support, IT services, Business Intelligence development, client and engagement acceptance, and client contract management activities.
In addition, we have other sub-teams under FSS which provides services related to Independence and Conflicts. Quality and Risk team identifies, mitigates and responds to risk. It provides information on the policies, processes and consultation points that will help ensure quality in all the work that is delivered to support AU member firm.
