What is the job like?
- Responsible for proactively monitoring and ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and robust fashion
- Coordinate and conduct Security audit, Risk assessment to ensure team meets the compliance requirements.
- Monitor application performance using Grafana, Kibana and identify the bottlenecks
- Understand and troubleshoot abuse issues and identify the are of improvement for automation
- Installation and upgrade of various infrastructure components and applications
- Create and review knowledgebase to identify areas that need to be updated / expanded
- Perform basic data analysts to help the team to make better business decisions
- Write custom monitoring plugins to collect and monitor the application metrics
- Participate in Production Operations, Oncalls etc and troubleshoot and fix production outages , performance issues etc in our AWS/Linux infrastructure stack
- Help our customer success team to analyze service problems from the client’s side and advice them on difficult cases
- Work on access management and infrastructure change to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and commitments to internal customers are met.

Who should apply for this role?
- In-depth Linux/Unix knowledge, a good understanding of the various kernel subsystems (CPU, memory, storage, network, etc
- Hands on experience in operating system and network troubleshooting\
- Knowledge and exposure to network protocols and tools DNS, TCP/IP, Routing
- Experience with MYSQL , PostgresQL etc
- Experience in web servers,application servers and mail servers
- Ability to create scripts in Python, bash or another language
- Software Configuration Management (SCM) using tools like Ansible, saltstack, puppet
- Exposure in designing the monitoring infrastructure with open source monitoring systems (e.g. Prometheus, elastic search, other time-series database, etc)
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other teams
- Experience in AWS Cloud infra is a plus (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, Athena, Containers(Docker)
- Understanding of distributed systems and critical infrastructure concepts like Microservice,queues,application caching , no sql databases)
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policie
