The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) is nestled in the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas, away from the bustle of the metropolis. It is situated, about 18 kms from the historic town of Mandi, in the Kamand Valley on the banks of the Uhl, a tributary of the river Beas.
