EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates applying for the Deputy manager post must possess the following desired qualification:
1.The applicant should ensure the following: (i)MINIMUMEDUCATIONALQUALIFICATION: A candidate should hold a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute on the closing date of receipt of online application.
Note-ICandidateswho are appearing for the final year/semester Degree (in Civil Engineering), the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the post, are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, whose announcement of final year results of Degree by the Universities/Institutes are likely to be delayed this year due to COVID Pandemic, are allowed, as a special case, to produce the proof of passing of the Degree at a later stage and such proof of passing the requisite Degree should NOT be dated later than 31st December, 2021 under any circumstances. In case of their selection, their joining to the post in NHAI will be considered only after submission of proof of passing of Degree in Civil Engineering acquired on or before 31st December, 2021, failing which such candidates will not be considered.
Note-II In case of candidates who are selected, but could not join NHAI due to pending receipt of proof of passing of Degree in Civil Engineering from their Universities/Institutes by the stipulated date i.e 31st December, 2021 or any other reason whatsoever, the period of delay in joining the post will be treated as delay on the part of the candidate(s) and their seniority, upon joining, will be regulated strictly in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) guidelines, from time to time, on the subject.
(ii) MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for the post. No inquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.

Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date of advertisement.The Upper age limit for advertised post on direct recruitment basis is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules applicable for different groups/category.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Procedure for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Recruitment 2021 involves :

On the basis of valid GATE score 2021 in Civil Engineering discipline as on closing date of advertisement. However, NHAI reserves the right to invite candidate for interview, as per cut off for respective category subsequently to be decided by NHAI.
NOTE-I: The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be considered for appointment or interview.
NOTE-II: In the event of number of applications being large, NHAI will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interaction / interview, if called, to a reasonable number by any method to be decided by the Selection Committee.
