National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), formerly known as the DOEACC Society, is a society that offers Information Technology and Electronics training at different levels. It is associated with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. It is working as an autonomous Statutory Organisation under the Indian Government. AGE LIMIT
The upper age limit is:
- Scientist ‘B’: Upto 30 Years as on closing date
- Scientific Assistant ‘A’: Upto 30 Years as on closing date
- Upper Age limit is given against each post.
- The upper age limit in respect of SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities and other special categories of persons shall be relaxable as per Govt. Rules and Orders issued from time to time.
- The upper age limit in respect of Government Servants, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons are relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government, from time to time, in this regard.
- Age relaxation:
- Up to 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates for the posts reserved for them
- Up to 03 years in case of OBC(Non-Creamy Layer (NCL)) candidates for the posts reserved for them
- Up to 10 years for PWD candidates. (15 years for PWD-SC/ST and 13 years for PWD-OBC candidates).
- For ex-servicemen, as per rules.
- 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised posts. The decision in this regard will rest with STQC.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Procedure for NIELIT Recruitment 2021 involves :
- Written test(Objective Type)
- Interview
- The final selection of eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Scientist ‘B’ will be based on the combined performance of the candidates both in the written examination and in an interview. The weightage of marks for written examination and interview will be in the ratio of 85:15. It is mandatory to appear in the interview for selection.
- Only the shortlisted candidates based on merit position and reservation policy etc. in the ratio of 1:3 (No.of vacancies: No. of candidates), who have qualified the written examination, will be called for interview. Category SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates General and all others Rs.400/- per application. Rs.800/- per application.
- For the post of Scientific Assistant ‘, A’ selection will be on the basis of a written test only.
- Verification of requisite documents will be done at the time of the interview for the post of Scientist ‘B. Verification of documents will be done before joining in respect of the post of Scientific Assistant ‘A’.

HOW TO APPLY?
Interested candidates must follow the following procedure to apply for the NIELIT Recruitment 2021 process:
- Before applying, Candidates are advised to go through this advertisement carefully in detail for determining their eligibility as per laid down criteria for the post.
- The candidate can apply for both the posts but only one stream (CS/IT/Electronics) per post of his/her choice.
- The admission at all the stages of the recruitment process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
- Candidates can apply ONLINE at https://apply-delhi.nielit.gov.in between 02.12.2020 (11:30 a.m) and 31.12.2020 (5:30 p.m). No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are required to have valid e-mail identification and an active mobile number. The procedure/steps for filling up of applications online is available at https://apply-delhi.nielit.gov under ‘Instructions for filling Application‟ on the Main Page.
- The application shall be treated complete only if all the steps are completed successfully. In case the candidate is not able to submit the fee by closing date and time, or the application is otherwise incomplete, his/her candidature will summarily be rejected.
- The candidate has to specify the choice of the Stream in the Online application for which he/she wishes to apply.
- Applicants are required to make sure that „Application Status‟ in their application is “Submitted Successfully” after submission of application, otherwise the application will be treated as incomplete and summarily rejected.
