About Futures First

Futures First provides market analysis services in various futures and options products across all asset classes, including fixed income, commodities, equity, and energy products.

The Research Intern will be required to use quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; knowledge of technology, information systems, and the web; as well as research abilities to work with the analysts and support the operational work of the Research Team.

Job Profile

During the internship, the incumbent will have the opportunity to:

Research, collect and compile information; Maintain and update quantitative and qualitative economic, financial, or statistical databases.

Evaluate economic, financial or statistical relationships in databases. Analyze economic time series data.
Design systems/set-ups competent to generate market analysis recommendations based on fundamental/technical analysis.
Usage of Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel and other resources.
Usage of technical analysis, charting and application of other market timing methods to suggest market trends and market analysis opportunities
Focus on generating/updating the knowledge base through various means.

Will be covering research for Brazilian markets for the Kolkata branch.
Will be required to work during Brazilian Hours

Requirements

Education Qualifications

Strong Academics, Degree Educated or Equivalent.
Preferable educational streams: Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics and Engineering
