Role Overview
This role is meant to provide an internship experience with a product-led company. The intern will work closely with the product strategy team in IDfy and will help identify opportunities for future product growth & expansion for the company. The role will involve identifying product landscape, performing competitive analysis, researching basic aspects of emerging opportunities & market sizing.
This role will report to the strategy team lead within the product team
Responsibilties
1. Responsible for working on understanding product landscape, competitive analysis, researching emerging opportunities & market size across industry segments
2. Leverage data & insights to refine the strategy, define success metrics for new opportunities
3. Understanding & keeping up to date with regulation changes, technology changes & process shifts to stay ahead of the curve
4. Performing other product function-related tasks on an as-needed basis along with product owners

Qualification
Must have an engineering background from a tier – 1 college: IIT/NIT/BITS
1. Strong Communication (both verbal & written) and organizational skills are mandatory
2. Should be able to work with stakeholders from multiple teams and should be able to build good structures
3. Should be detail-oriented problem-solvers who are able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills
4. Should welcome iterative approaches to problem-solving while being capable of building general solution frameworks for common problems
5. Should have an understanding of market research techniques in order to quickly size key markets
6. Should be able to apply 80/20 rule well in work efforts for obtaining good efficiency in output
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA from tier-2 college is preferred but not mandatory
