Job Overview

This position is project based, rather than task oriented, and requires a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously, while still understanding the needs of the company and the respective teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Do data analyses and statistical techniques to develop solutions to get meaningful information of data to guide business decision making
Identify predictors and causes of business related problems and implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction
Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
Collaborate with multiple teams as a leader of quantitative analysis and where you develop solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity
Analyze and solve business problems at their root
Do RCA on the reports being prepared
Apply EDA methods wherever required in the data
Apply conditional formatting and formulas like (importrange, Query, Unique, and sumifs) in google spreadsheet
Automate manual tasks VIA python or Macros
Strong knowledge of MYSQL server statements like
Select
Update
Delete
Sub-Query
Case statement
Joins
Update thru joins

Knowledge and Skills Required

Record of delivering large analytical solutions with business impact
Experience on R/ML, python and SQL
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a strong working knowledge of Excel
Problem solving ability and passion for big data
Knowledge of Google spreadsheet
Excellent communication and data presentation skills
Fluent written and spoken English

Experience

Academic or Project Experience with Machine and Deep Learning toolkits
Experience in R/ML and SQL
Familiarity with data processing with Python, R & SQL.

Education:

Degree in Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Math, or other degrees that show ability of high proficiency for details and analytics
Certificate/diploma in Data Scientist OR Data Analysis using python & SQL
