Microsoft has officially announced that its “Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer Specialty” training and certification course is available online – for FREE – at BUILD 2020. The training platform was first available in beta in the month of January 2020, and now it is officially available on Microsoft Learn. The Learning & Certification will surely boast your CV during Job Interviews.
What To Learn?
As an Azure IoT Developer, you will work with Data Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure successful business integration.
You will have to manage the device lifecycle – setup, configuration, and maintenance – using cloud services and other tools.
You will be incharge of the design section, wherein you will have to implement designs for Azure IoT solutions including device topology, connectivity, debugging, and security, as well as solutions to manage, monitor, and transform IoT-related data pipelines.
Lastly, you will also deploy the Azure IoT Edge components and configure device networking on the edge.

But there’s a catch if you are signing up for this course, then is stated that you must have some experience implementing the Azure services that form an IoT solution, including data storage options, data analysis, data processing, and platform-as-a-service options.
In this role, you must be able to recognize Azure IoT service configuration settings, that means you will have to be familiar with the code portions of an IoT solution in atleast one of the Azure-supported language, i.e., C#, Note, C, or Python.
