Amid the COIVD-19 lockdown, since Learning Must Not Stop, TCS iON has launched more than 100 remote industrial internship projects for students.
According to TCS iON, these remote internship products will help students to connect directly with the corporates and industry mentors and provide a structured learning environment to execute the internship projects remotely. Interns can also interact and share ideas with peers and mentors through a social format.
Tata Consultancy Services’ Digital Internship Product is Aligned to AICTE Guidelines and will help students to learn from the industry and earn academic credits too. Academic guides registered with students can track the performance of students to award academic credits accordingly.
All 100+ internships are powered by TCS iON Digital Learning Platform, with access to industry mentors, industry-curated learning material, projects, and videos or webinars.
Commenting on the announcement, Venguswamy Ramaswamy, Global Head, TCS iON, said, “We are excited to launch this product just in time for the summer internships and bring the industry and students together on a single digital platform. Through this product we hope to enable streamlined and uninterrupted learning for students on trending industry topics, ensuring that they earn their academic credits, even in the midst of a pandemic.”
Students can apply for various internship domains, like, Artificial Intelligence, Automotive, Content Development, Content Digitization, Education, Energy, Talent Development, UI Design and many others.
All the domains have different project titles, that the students can select from and opt for a project title. This will help students to not only get exposure to trending technologies through related mentors but also an opportunity to understand and contribute towards real-life problems and scenarios.
