Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Defining product specifications, creating digital or print drawings, and designing fully-functional products 2. Identifying opportunities for new products 3. Analyzing how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences 4. Setting design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners 5. Sketching drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD) 6.
