About Meltwater

Meltwater is focussed on building a Solutions Engineering team to provide our enterprise customers with the highest quality solutions tailored to their own specific needs.

We are looking for Interns to join our Solutions Engineering team in Bangalore. In this exciting role you will have an immediate impact on the Meltwater customer base.

The solutions we build are fully web-based and offered as a service. The technology portfolio ranges from Angular in the frontend, Node.js in the backend, powered by MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB, ElasticSearch and Kafka.

Our applications are deployed on cloud solutions such as AWS, Kubernetes and MongoDB Atlas and we take great pride in the DevOps mindset and skills that allow us to manage all of these resources as a team.

Your role

Design, build and deliver tailored, best- fit solutions for enterprise clients of Meltwater and/or internal Meltwater departments.
Define Unit and Integration Tests for the client solutions
Troubleshoot issues or bugs identified in solutions
Design and develop Mockups or Proof of Concepts from high level requirements.
Give technical demonstrations, both internally and to the client to showcase POCs or products developed.
Interface and collaborate with other Engineering, Product, Support and Customer Success missions in Meltwater to build solutions aligned with the overall Meltwater vision.
Become a technical and product subject matter expert while working on technologies that are used for different requirements for each client

Note:

This is for a fixed term internship spanning 4-6 months and providing an industry standard stipend.
Currently work from home until Meltwater Bangalore Office opens.
Interns will be evaluated throughout the internship and, upon completion, strong performing interns will be considered for any open full time position within the team
Looking for members who have completed graduation and/or are in final semester.

Your expertise:

Excellent problem solving skills
Database Knowledge and good hold on at-least one programming language
HTML, JavaScript, Regular Expression etc.
Communicates positively, professionally and effectively to all stakeholders.
Outstanding commitment and winning spirit
Team player who enjoys working in a team and celebrating colleagues’ successes
Good documentation skills.
Node.js, Angular, UNIX and scripting
NoSQL, Elastic Search, AWS
