Your role

Perform, a variety of operational tasks for simple or routine securities or cash related transactions and processes. Duties may include differentiating, processing and reconciling transactions; researching inquiries; reviewing less time-sensitive and less complex documents; has minimal customer contact. Works under close to moderate supervision. One of the primary roles of FCM Operations is to liaise with exchanges, clients, and other FCMs to ensure trades are booked and cleared accurately, perform trade reconciliations and all requisite regulatory reporting, and to provide market, credit and perform GL&SL. The role is expected to lead a team who performs a variety of operational tasks for highly complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require expert knowledge of FCM Trade management, Clearing Ops and Brokerage functions (Atlantis /GPS) and systems.This role will also co-ordinate with the different areas of the Bank and external brokers on the street.

Responsibilities

Working on the electronic platform Atlantis and E-Recs {(FIA Tech Invoicing and Reconciliation System Fees)
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture
Handling calls with the top brokers at quarter ends and year ends to go for the settlements between payables and receivables, Researching on any queries/requests sent by the Business Partners/Execution Brokers/Client Support Teams and replying to the same with minimum response time.
Closing electronically settled trades in internal books and booking funds and processing payments & Communicating the status to internal stakeholders
Review and manage the end-to-end Brokerage Payables and receivables process & Identifying opportunities to improve the process through partnership with other teams
Handling all types of Commission (Execution/Clearing) related issues of the clients.
Managing client commissioning in GMI & Brokerage agreements
Assist with balancing teamwork load & Identify issues with the process, create and drive a solution & Develop and maintain MIS on end-to-end process for tracking turnaround times of deliverables from team and other processing areas
Ensure and Adhere to the Regulatory Reporting standards, policies and procedures & Independently research and analyze regulatory reporting requirements and other financial documents
Recommend procedural changes/process improvement opportunities to streamline the process, ability to exercise discretion and use deductive reasoning to create solutions to platform inefficiencies.

Your expertise:

Excellent verbal, written (including drafting), and interpersonal communication skills.
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, formulas, and manipulating data.
Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on critical operational data.
Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines. Highly motivated with ability to drive results.
Highly organized with very strong attention to detail. Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work with impacted areas to understand complex problems. Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent Interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships
