What is the Job Like?
- Knowledge on Citrix, ERP, Navision & Gmail administrative control.
- Design, implement and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of vSphere environment
- Migrate VMs across hosts within a HA cluster to perform maintenance tasks on ESXi hosts.
- Used VMware vMotion to eliminate application downtime from planned server maintenance by migrating running virtual machines between hosts.
- Created clones from existing VMs (both live and powered-off)
- VMWare administration, managing the Server ISO template
- Deployed several VMs from Templates and customized their configurations as-needed.
- Responded to server down alerts in a timely manner and brought them up via Dell DRAC.
- Managing Windows OS and Linux Server deployment through VMWare
- Configuring and managing Different Infra-Network environments, Prod, Test and UAT through vSphere.
- Knowledge of Private and Public cloud technologies
- Accomplished Cloud Engineer role with experience in managing Cloud server infrastructures.
- Effectively plan, install, configure and optimize the cloud infrastructure to consistently achieve high availability and performance.
- Experience of architecting services of AWS on a theoretical and practical level (EC2, IAM, VPC, EMR, Lambda, ELB, Auto Scaling, EFS, CloudFront, AZ, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, RDS, Certificate Manager, AWS Well-Architected Tool, SNS, SES, RDS, Elastic Cache, DMS, SMS, Trusted Advisor, AWS Config, Guard Duty, WorkSpaces, etc.)
- Build and release Ec2 instances such as Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, Redhat, SUSE Linux, Windows Server
