About Hofars

GeoWater llp was formed in the year 2015 to cater to a unique segment of the industry that is Safe Drinking Water and Sustainable Energy, the founders were ex-UN employees and were inspired by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Overview of the Hofars Internship Program

Hofars offers an excellent internship program for the Energy, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications and MBA Students. The internships are for a maximum duration of 6 months.

The # of internship positions available depends on the project availability. So far 110 candidates of various nationalities from diverse domains and having different skillsets have interned with us from incorporation till date.

The past results of these programs have been very encouraging.

There are exactly 50 vacancies in a calendar year, although the actual number of positions on offer may vary.

The interns under a suitable manager would be classified into project teams for further effective administration based on their skill sets, interests, and availability of positions.

Core Research Group & Indicative Project Descriptions

The core research group would be working on some of the best current projects from Industry and Academia. The selection for this group would be done from among the current interns working within the project teams based on the merit/ regular performance evaluation.

Remuneration:

The internship is unpaid.

10 candidates would receive a monthly stipend of 8,000 pm from the 3rd Month. The selection would be based on internal/regular evaluation by the project team.
Candidates who have been accepted in the Core Research Group are entitled to apply for the stipend in the first week of his/her the third month. The decision made by the granting committee shall be final and binding in all respect. Also, the granting agency has all the rights to modify the amount of the stipend at any time/discontinue stipend without any prior notice.

Attendance:

100 % attendance is compulsory in all the meetings, the attendance would be marked digitally during all the meetings for all the interns.

Any planned absentees should be brought to the notice of the reporting manager well before the scheduled /intended leave dates.

Uniformed leaves may result in termination of the internship.
