Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess following qualifications to be eligible for the NTPC Jobs Recruitment 2020 process:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery / Mining OR Engineering Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mining / Mines Survey OR Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.
Experience

Age Limit
Upper age-limit post-wise for GEN / OBC (CL) / EWS is:
- Assistant Mine Surveyor – 37 Years
- Mine Surveyor – 42 Years
- Head Mine Surveyor & Executives – 47 Years
- Head of Excavation – 52 Years
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for SC / ST / Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled is 5 Years, OBC(Non-Creamy Layered) Candidates is by 3 years & for PWD Candidates is 10 Years.
Selection Process
The selection methodology for NTPC Recruitment process will comprise of following stages:-
