Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur invites applications for the VNIT Nagpur Department of Electrical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from MTech/ME degree holders.
The fellows are required to work in a funded research project titled, ‘Highly Efficient and Reliable Solid State Transformer for Future Distribution Network with Renewable Energy Support’.

VNIT Junior Fellowship 2021 Eligibility:
The fellowship is open for candidates who hold an MTech/ME degree in Electrical Engineering Department with specialization in Power Electronics/Electrical Drives/Power System/Control System or equivalent.
They must have qualified GATE exam and experimental knowledge in the hardware and controller design of power electronic converters.
The first division in UG and PG will be given preference. They must have proficiency in MATLAB, PSIM, PCB Design Software, and Microcontroller/Digital Signal Controller/FPGA and good analytical ability and competent writing skills.

VNIT Junior Fellowship 2021 Prizes and rewards:
First two years Rs. 31,000 p.m. (Consolidated) and Third year Rs. 35,000 (consolidated). HRA will be given as per
rules.
Fellowship Duration:
The maximum duration of the project is three years. Initially, appointments will be made for six months, which can be extended later for every six months till the completion of the project subject to the approval of the Director, VNIT. The extension shall be solely based on satisfactory performance.

- One page write up on the skills and achievements, and
- One page write up (in your own words) on your research plans in the related area.
