In this role you will…..

Ensure the infrastructure platform maintains 99.99% uptime. Work towards a target of platform availability to 99.999%.
Responsible for all technology stacks that supports a customer service. This includes resources in public cloud (AWS), and private cloud (Co-Lo Datacenters), including but not limited to Network, Server HW, and Operating System.
Responsible for configuring, managing the monitoring alerts and reports from New Relic, Check_mk, Elastic Search/log stash and home grown tools.
Automation of standard tasks related to System management. Automate the build/maintenance of physical and virtual servers across the datacenter.
Engage and support key infrastructure initiatives related to public cloud, Object Store etc.
Perform hardware maintenances , work with vendor to solve the issue

You have got it what it takes…..

Excellent knowledge of Linux administration.
Experience administering VMware hosts and virtual environments.
Public cloud knowledge – AWS.
Shell Scripting.
Sound Programming skills.
Good Understanding of Networking concepts.
